GCube's 2nd edition of its summer 'survival course' for talented young risk managers and brokers

On June 10-12, 2025, Camp GCube made its return for a second year, taking place at Skytop Lodge in Pennsylvania.
Our summer ‘survival course’ brought together risk managers and brokers from across the US for three days of learning, discussion, and connection, focused on what it really takes to manage risk in renewable energy insurance.
This year’s agenda provided a broad mix of industry insights and expert-led sessions, including:
- A look at the day-to-day life of a renewable energy underwriter, from risk selection to when claims are triggered.
- A deep dive into claims data, what it reveals about the present state of the market, and what lessons it holds for the future.
- Emerging risk profile challenges in the sector, from geotechnical conditions and grid constraints, to the evolving role of the risk manager.
Beyond these sessions, Camp GCube offered space for attendees to connect more informally, with lawn games, trivia sessions, and nature hikes creating moments to unwind and network.
