Madrid Renewable Energy Risk Seminar 2023

On April 19th and 20th, GCube held its Renewable Energy Risk Seminar in Madrid.

Our risk seminars are exclusive events for risk managers that draw together market leaders in risk management and renewable energy insurance from the Europe and further afield.

The events aim to encourage discussion and debate about the ways in which lessons learnt from more mature renewables markets can be applied to maximise opportunities in emerging markets.

The agenda for the two-day event included:

-   Leading guest speakers bringing legal, investor, and data analytical perspectives on the topic of supporting new technological innovation, while managing R&D risk

-   In-depth claims analysis from the GCube team on the rise of colossal wind turbines and their impact on the insurance market

-   Exploration of emerging global risks affecting portfolio owners, from Iberia and Southern Europe to the Americas

We will also be making the most of our surroundings with evening and afternoon activities scheduled in Madrid, giving attendees the opportunity to catch up and see what the city has to offer.
