On June 6th, 7th and 8th, GCube held its inaugural Camp GCube at Castanoa Lodge, Pescadero, California.
Camp GCube is a summer 'survival course' for up-and-coming risk managers and brokers from the US and further afield, equipping attendees with the skills to manage risks in renewable energy.
The agenda for the two-day event included:
- Leading guest speakers bringing risk management, investor, and underwriting perspectives on the topic of supporting new technological innovation
- In-depth discussions on risk management and volatility in the US renewables market
- Exploration of the claims process: What happens when things go wrong and what steps can we all do in order to ensure a smoother claims process?
We also made the most of our surroundings with evening and afternoon activities scheduled, including hiking, tie dye and some astronomy in between.
